Welcome to the Medical Roommate Network! With so many interviews being in person, the costs of airfare, hotel stays, and rental cars add up very quickly. Our mission is to make this journey less expensive for our colleagues in medicine by helping you share these costs with others. Simply register and gain access to a list of other users' upcoming interviews, including hospital names, cities, dates, and fellow interviewees' contact information. Once you have purchased an account, we must verify your identity before you can connect with other users. This provides greater safety to you as a user, and builds a foundation of trust with the programs that partner with us.
After you have registered for an account, you can become verified by sending an email to us at info@medicalroommatenetwork.com with two things:
1. An attached a picture of your medical ID (eg, medical student ID, residency ID, fellowship ID).
2. A forwarded email confirming that you are registered in a match program such as the NRMP (you should receive a confirmation email from a match program once your application is submitted).
*Please note that the verification process can take up to two business days. Once you are verified, you will receive an email from us and gain unrestricted access to the platform.
We are a small team of doctors who have been through the full journey of medicine from pre-med, medical school, residency, and beyond. The already crippling cost of training is further compounded by repeated rounds of an expensive interview process.
